Online content guidelines
St Vincent’s cares for the ill and the aged at its public and private hospitals and aged care residential facilities in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. We were asked to help them to extend that care to online audiences – they wanted a reference tool for the creation of consistent, accessible content for their 10+ websites.
Happy Content researched and wrote a 120-page guidelines document that explained how to write and produce content that was compliant with the WCAG 2.0. Level AA guidelines, consistent, and relevant. We threw in some grammar rules (apostrophes explained), naming conventions and commonly misspelt words, illustrated everything with real examples and designed the document to be used by busy communications and department staff.
